First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Registered Nurse (RN) in Little Rock, Arkansas. Operating within the acute inpatient Med/Surg service line (128 total beds across 5 units) at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary—a prominent 600-bed Level II Trauma Center—this position features a structured 3x12 daytime schedule (07:00 AM - 19:00 PM / 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM). NO ON-CALL REQUIRED! NO MANDATORY HOLIDAYS! This role floats across Med/Onc, two surgical units, and two medical units, providing comprehensive bedside nursing care for complex adult post-op and chronic disease admissions. Location Details: Assignment is located at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary, 2 St. Vincent Circle, Little Rock, AR 72205 (Dept: Med/Surg Float Pool / Division of Nursing). ⏱️ Assignment Timeline: 13-week contract running from October 12, 2026, through January 11, 2027 (Job ID: 1182186 / Medical Solutions). No Call / No Holidays: Requisition confirms no standby call and no holiday working requirement. Floating Agreement: Candidate must agree to float across Med/Onc, 2 medical units, and 2 surgical units at a 1:6 ratio (total care model). Submittal Rules & Compliance: Active AR or Compact RN license must be attached at initial submittal (license in-hand required). Current AHA BLS card must be active and uploaded with the packet. Verified experience in high-bed-count facilities must be reflected on the resume. Uniform requirement: Solid Navy Blue scrubs. Facility Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract. All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be presented upfront with the submittal packet.
