Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or a Compact state; pending license may be accepted for submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification required; AHA certifications preferred where applicable
• Strong experience in med-surg and telemetry nursing
• Experience managing patient ratios in a busy acute care environment
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled
• Must be able to provide required documentation at time of submission
• Professional references from recent charge nurse or manager experience required
• Must meet travel distance guidelines for consideration

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry, assess changes in condition, and respond appropriately to patient needs
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other ordered treatments
• Perform wound care, line care, drainage management, and respiratory support interventions as needed
• Support patients with a variety of acute medical diagnoses and post-procedure needs
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary departments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner
• Promote a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment
• Contribute to team huddles, patient flow, and overall unit efficiency
