Job Details
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Nursing
Location: Not specified, within the healthcare facility's area of service
Schedule: Nights shift, 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required
Required Qualifications: Ohio RN license (required at submission); BLS certification; minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience (renal experience strongly preferred); proven ability to independently interpret telemetry strips; Epic electronic medical record proficiency (mandatory, no training provided); competency test required on Day 1
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with renal patients, telemetry interpretation, and Epic EMR proficiency
Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients, managing acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs, monitoring cardiac telemetry, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Additional Information: No on-call requirement; candidates must demonstrate adaptability, efficiency, and critical thinking; Epic proficiency must be documented in submission; duplicate submissions are not accepted; agency contract must mirror the confirmation page including start and end dates and requested time off.
