Position Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest standards of patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient progress and promptly report changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the EMR.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
  • Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA required).
  • COVID card (Medical/Religious exemption are accepted.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
