Job Description:

Experienced Registered Nurse needed for Med/Surg unit to provide high quality patient care. Candidate must have a minimum of 18 months experience in MedSurg and/or ICU, with EPIC or Cerner proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with standard nursing practices
• Assist with patient assessment, care planning, and medical administration
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team
• Implement patient care plans and evaluate outcomes
• Prepare patients for exams and treatments and assist with procedures

Requirements:

• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 18 months experience in MedSurg and/or ICU
• Experience with EPIC or Cerner EMR systems
• Strong IV skills, experience with NGT, wound care, medication administration
