Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty for a facility located within a 50-mile radius. This position involves providing inpatient care to adult and geriatric patients in a 10-bed unit, with a patient ratio of 1:6. The role requires EPIC charting experience and a minimum of 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical experience.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS; Education: Minimum 1 year inpatient med/surg experience; Location: Valid state or compact license in hand at time of submittal; Years of Experience: 0 years minimum.
  • Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; Minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Must have EPIC experience and be comfortable with 1:6 patient ratios. Recent EPIC experience (within 6 months) is required. The unit accepts first-time travelers and maintains a patient census of approximately 8 patients per day. Orientation involves 20 hours of onsite training, including core items/labs to be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
