Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment End Date: February 22, 2027
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6–8
• Weekends: Required as needed, with a minimum of every other weekend
• Call: Not required
• Charting: Epic electronic health record
• Orientation: 40 hours

Medical-Surgical RN Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical registered nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse license in Washington or a compact RN license in hand
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Electronic health record experience required; Epic experience is beneficial
• Demonstrated clinical ability in medical-surgical nursing, rapid response and code-team support, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Ability to provide safe care across units when floating is assigned
• Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the past three years
• Flexibility to support holiday coverage during the assignment, including three of five designated winter holidays when scheduled

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in an inpatient rehabilitation environment
• Assess patient conditions, develop and update individualized care plans, and evaluate clinical outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring for changes in patient status
• Manage peripheral lines, oxygen therapy, nasal cannula use, and non-invasive airway support
• Recognize clinical deterioration and appropriately activate rapid response or code-team resources
• Apply isolation precautions and personal protective equipment standards
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with providers, rehabilitation professionals, patients, and families to promote quality outcomes
• Float between units as needed while maintaining safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
