Job Summary Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Clinical Observation Unit, located in Virginia. This position involves working in a fast-paced, teaching healthcare environment within a clinical observation unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, contribute to a supportive team culture, and engage with students and new hires regularly.
Job Details
Schedule: 12-hour nights shifts, ending on Saturday, with 36 hours minimum per week.
Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, valid nursing license, Skills Checklist, copy of Nursys/license, and must have prior travel experience for all Centra positions.
Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse responsibilities and weekend-only requests considered.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Orientation dates are 8/24 and 9/8, occurring every other week on Mondays, unless otherwise posted. The position involves working in a Med/Surg Clinical Observation Unit with patient ratios of 1:5/1:6. Night assignments end on Saturday, and travel is required. The healthcare provider can cancel up to 36 hours before an assignment due to census changes.
