• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6, with occasional 1:7 during surge periods
• Schedule Notes: 3 x 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, rotating holidays
• Floating: May float to a similar level of care
• Dress Code: Scrubs in any color

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based Med/Surg RN experience
• Active RN license at time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• IV certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and time management skills
• Experience with telemetry monitoring preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients
• Perform bedside shift report and hourly safety rounding
• Administer and monitor IV therapy per clinical standards
• Manage common Med/Surg procedures including wound care, drain management, Foley insertion, and central line dressing changes
• Monitor telemetry and obtain EKGs as needed
• Support CBI and other unit-specific patient care needs
• Document accurately using the facility's electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
