• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Work Type: Travel Registered Nurse assignment
• Start Date: October 2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with IV starts and intermediate floor skills preferred
• Comfortable working with patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7 on nights
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients with orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric-related needs
• Complete patient assessments, administer medications, and support safe recovery
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Perform IV starts and other routine Med/Surg nursing duties within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote a positive patient experience
• Collaborate with therapy, respiratory, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams as needed
• Support weekend coverage and maintain flexibility with minimal requested time off
