Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) at a healthcare facility located in Cleveland, Ohio. This position involves providing high-quality cardiac care on a specialized unit dedicated to patients with complex cardiac conditions. The nurse will deliver comprehensive patient care in a high-acuity environment, supporting patients before and after cardiac procedures and managing implantable cardiac devices.
Job Details:
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Ohio state nursing license, 0 years of experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical or cardiac care, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), familiarity with implantable cardiac devices is a plus
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, electrolyte-related dysrhythmias, tachy-bradysyndromes, and those awaiting heart transplants. Candidates will manage patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, ablations, and chemical cardioversion with anti-dysrhythmic therapy. The unit emphasizes high-quality patient outcomes and specialized cardiac care.
