Assignment Overview

Seeking a dedicated RN with a MedSurg/Tele specialty to provide top-notch care in a variety of fast-paced and observation settings. The ideal candidate will have experience with cardiac, respiratory, and neuro diagnoses, and be comfortable working with a high average daily census.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to patients with various diagnoses including cardiac, respiratory, and neuro conditions
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
  • Perform general medical and surgical care including wound care and IV starts
  • Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6, with potential surge staffing up to 1:7-8
  • Float within the region and department as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Basic Med/Tele skillset including IV starts and cardiac drips
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
