Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated RN for a MedSurg/Tele unit in Winston-Salem. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling general medical conditions, with some cardiac cases, and comfortable in a fast-paced academic medical center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with general medical issues, cardiac conditions, pneumonia, UTI, chest pain, and fluid overload.
  • Conduct telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
  • Perform wound care and manage surgical drains.
  • Administer medications including Cardizem/Amiodarone gtt.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Licenses: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Skills: PCA, wound care, telemetry cardiac rhythm interpretation

Preferred:

  • Travel experience

PEL/VIP Job ID #63652298. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
