MED SURG RN CONTRACT WITH AUTO OFFER TRACK – MIDWEST REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Jackson, Michigan. Operating within the acute medical services unit at a premier regional hospital, this contract features a fast-track Auto Offer pathway for qualified clinicians. PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

• Weekly Gross: $2,038.00
• Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00
• Hourly W2 Rate: $22.00/hr
• Overtime Rate: $33.00/hr (Overtime billed after 48 hours)

SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: 3x12-Hour shifts (36 hours weekly). Block scheduling configurations are not available.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
• On-Call Requirements: Standby call rates apply at $5.00/hr ($120.26/hr call-back rate).
• Clinical Scope & Responsibilities: Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality compassionate care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Oversees care delegation, patient/family education, interdisciplinary team communication, and medical documentation.
• Unit & Floating Expectations: Primary assignment in medical acute care with preferred base telemetry experience. Candidates may be requested to float to a lockdown unit as needed.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent clinical Med Surg RN experience is strictly required. Base telemetry experience is preferred.
• Licensure: Active Michigan State Board of Nursing License must be active and in-hand at the time of submission.
• Certifications Required: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) credentials in hand are mandatory.
