Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Nurse is sought for a healthcare organization operating on the St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing patient care on a medical/surgical/respiratory unit within a Level 1 trauma center. The position requires working nights with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/06/2026. The unit features 39 private rooms and utilizes the Cerner electronic medical record system, with every other weekend required.

Job Details:

• Location: 929 N. St. Francis, Wichita, Kansas, 67214
• Position: Medical Surgical Floor
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 1 year of nursing experience in a medical/surgical setting, specific qualification details, and educational background as per facility standards
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 1 trauma center and proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a 39-bed unit that provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and respiratory patient care services. Every other weekend working is required.
