Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Float as needed within skillset

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the wound salvage program, providing care for patients with wounds and peripheral vascular disease (PVD).
• Assist patients undergoing serial procedures, antibiotic treatment, wound cultures, and wound vac therapy.
• Manage pain medications and care strategies to preserve patients' extremities.
• Manage situations where amputations may occur, ensuring a compassionate approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Completion of at least 1 travel assignment preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.

Immunization Requirements

All employees are required to receive the Flu vaccine.

This position is based in the Medical Surgical unit.
