Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Job Description

This position involves working in an Adult Medical/Surgical unit, specializing in orthopedic and neurological patients. The RN will provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of medical needs during day shifts.

Shift Information

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Alternate shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
  • Holiday Coverage: Required

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.

Certifications / Requirements

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support / BCLS

Key Responsibilities

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and managing patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatments.
  • Administering medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices in patient care.
