• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 - $1,970
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled
• Floating: Required within the specialty and to lower-acuity areas and sister facilities as needed
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact license at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Strong ortho/joint experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with strong relevant experience
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• CPI preferred
• NIHSS preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts in an acute care hospital environment
• Must be comfortable floating within scope

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and support recovery for orthopedic and joint replacement patients
• Perform routine assessments, interventions, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote safe, effective patient care
• Support patients with therapies and treatments such as wound care, IV management, oxygen therapy, and mobility assistance as needed
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when necessary
• Float within specialty and related lower-acuity areas while maintaining quality care standards
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented night shift environment
