First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:30 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
  • On-Call Protocol: No on-call duties required.
  • Block Scheduling [HARDSTOP]: Block schedules are strictly prohibited; candidates requesting or preferring block schedules will be automatically rejected.
  • Floating Protocol: Floating is required per facility needs.
  • Assignment Duration: 10-Week Contract (09/21/2026 – 11/29/2026) | 1 Open Position
  • Requested Time Off (RTO) Limits [HARDSTOP]:
    • Maximum 7 total days of RTO permitted per assignment. Submissions exceeding 7 days will be automatically rejected.
    • No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
  • Dress Code: Solid Black Scrubs.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care Med/Surg experience.
  • Education Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Must hold an accredited nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution.
  • EMR Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Must have direct clinical charting experience in Epic EMR within the last 12 months clearly documented on resume.
  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active Ohio State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License.
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
