Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, Evenings, and Nights available | Weekends, on-call, and holidays per unit need | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments for a geriatric long term care population
• Implement and document individualized nursing plans of care
• Administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Oversee and delegate tasks to LPN and CNA colleagues
• Perform wound care as needed; no trach or acute care needs present in this setting

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY license only)
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long term care setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience
• Strong communication, flexibility, and delegation skills
