- Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Florida or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be on file at submission)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Float Registered Nurse (RN)
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification required
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in an outpatient ambulatory care setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-injection nursing assessments for Botox patients
- Prepare Botox for administering providers
- Provide discharge education and After Visit Summaries
- Perform pre-procedural and post-procedural assessments for pain management patients receiving steroid injections or nerve ablations
- Facilitate patient discharge and education following procedures
- Independently manage workflow after a brief orientation, maintaining professional standards of care
- Note: The unit performs anesthesia pain procedures and Botox injections only; no surgical procedures conducted
- Additional Information:
- Interviews are conducted by the Unit Manager
- Processing of Florida ACHA can take up to 14 business days from receipt
- No RTO during the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum 8 days of RTO allowed for the 13-week contract
- Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Policy (20262027): medical exemptions allowed with exemption form submission; staff refusing vaccination must complete an educational module
