Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

This position is for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in a 30-bed acute care unit focusing on Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. The role involves providing exceptional patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.

Scheduling Details

  • Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed.
  • Must work every other weekend.
  • Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays.
  • RTO for Christmas is not approved.
  • 40 hours of time off can be approved.

Requirements

  • Current BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
  • Must adhere to floating policies within the organization.
  • Open to applicants with a pending Virginia license.
  • Prior experience with Epic electronic medical records is required.

Unit Information

The 6 West unit, which specializes in Medical Surgical - Neuro, provides critical care and rehabilitation services to patients undergoing neurosurgical and ENT procedures.
