Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience, with recent Medical-Surgical experience
• Strong telemetry skills with the ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Ability to successfully pass a telemetry test on day one with a score of 85% or higher
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EPIC experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred

Med/Surg Telemetry Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for acute Medical-Surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Perform patient assessments, administer treatments, and document care accurately
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines to support coordinated care
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes throughout the shift
• Maintain clear communication with the care team to ensure efficient, patient-centered service
• Adapt to a dynamic clinical environment while upholding best practices and unit standards
