Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct acute care and swing bed patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Assess patient health status through collection and evaluation of clinical data
• Deliver health teaching, counseling, therapy, and restorative treatment support
• Execute delegated medical functions and support treatment plan monitoring
• Document assessments, interventions, education, and care coordination accurately and timely
• Collaborate with ancillary departments and physician providers to support patient-centered care
• Promote culturally appropriate care that addresses the medical, social, and spiritual needs of patients
