Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
• Willingness to complete and pass a dysrhythmia exam
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a teamwork mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care on a Medical/Surgical unit
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate updates promptly to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and nursing standards
• Support care planning, documentation, and continuity of care for a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a professional, organized, and calm approach in a busy acute care hospital environment
