Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the 2 Surgical Med/Surg / PCU unit for a 13-week assignment in Lancaster, OH. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to Medical-Surgical and Progressive Care patients.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
Delegate responsibilities and provide direction to assigned staff as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements:
Active Ohio/Compact RN License
BLS Certification
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
Previous Registered Nurse experience preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and make independent clinical decisions
