Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg surgical unit position requiring dysrhythmia management skills and prior large-facility experience.

Details

• Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit providing pre- and post-operative surgical care
• Two levels of care: adult inpatient Med Surg acute and telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience with dysrhythmia management required
• BLS certification required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred

Additional Information

• Provide bedside surgical care to pre- and post-operative patients
• Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Strong candidates preferred given the facility's high standards
