Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; valid licensure to submit; location within 50 miles; driver's license required; no experience minimum otherwise
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required, including assignments to PCU or Burn units
- Additional Information:
- Unit configured with a ratio of 1:5-6, with staff rotating to 1:6 at least once per week
- Bed count: 42 beds
- Charge nurse on each shift who may take an assignment
- No titratable drips except Heparin; RT available 24 hours on the floor
- Telemetry available centrally with tele monitor techs on the floor
- Nurse aides/patient care techs available, with duties involving ratios of 1:10-12
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
- Orientation includes classroom training plus two 12-hour shifts on the floor; first week only
- RTO needed upfront (7 days or less per 13-week contract); additional RTO not approved
- Facility allows cancellation of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
- Charting system: EPIC
- No BSN required
