Pay Rate:
$2236 weekly ($27.5/hr w2 + $1246/week stipend)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel RN – Medical Surgical for a night shift contract in Columbia, MO. This is a 3x12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with a block Monday–Thursday schedule. The unit cares for orthopedic, trauma, ortho spine, medicine, and plastics patients with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Duties

Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients.
Care for post-operative orthopedic, trauma, spine, medicine, and plastics patients.
Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and oxygen therapy.
Start and maintain IVs, manage PICC lines, and perform telemetry monitoring.
Perform wound care, ostomy care, and post-surgical patient management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float to other units as needed.
Work every other weekend and 50% of contract holidays.

Requirements

Active RN license.
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience (2 years preferred).
Trauma Level II experience required.
BLS required; ACLS preferred.
First-time travelers accepted.
Experience with telemetry, IV therapy, PICC lines, blood product administration, wound care, orthopedic and trauma patients.
Ability to lift 20+ lbs and work in a fast-paced acute care environment.
No local candidates within 50 miles.
