Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse position located in Tennessee. This role involves working in a Med/Surg float pool environment, providing patient care on various units within the facility. The candidate will be working night shifts, with a flexible schedule to meet unit staffing needs, and must be available for orientation dates starting in late August 2026.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Tennessee license or compact license, at least 2 years of clinical experience, prior travel experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum 0 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Med/Surg float pools, familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system, ability to float within five Med/Surg units, scrubs in navy color.
• Float: No float rotation required.
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 8/31, 9/14, 9/21, and 9/28; no orientation on 9/7 due to Labor Day. No time off will be approved from 9/19 to 10/17 due to Epic system implementation. Must be flexible to meet scheduling needs of the unit. Scrubs navy. The facility makes the schedule, and the candidate must be able to float to the emergency room as needed. The electronic medical records system used is Cerner. The candidate will work in Tennessee at the specified facility address.
