Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Floor nursing position is located in a healthcare facility in Mattoon, Illinois. This role involves caring for patients on a 21-bed unit, primarily managing conditions such as heart failure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty area.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating shifts
• Schedule: 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; minimum of 2 years experience in medical-surgical nursing; verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates permitted.
• Additional Information: A cover sheet is required for application submission. Weekend shifts on an every-other-weekend basis are required.
