Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Marquette, Michigan. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients within a 225-bed specialty care hospital. The role focuses on critical thinking, decisive judgment, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must have Michigan State License and at least 2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a medical/surgical unit is preferred.
Additional Information:
Unit profile includes adult and geriatric patient population ages 18-125 with patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1.
Equipment used includes telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, bladder scanner, and Dynamaps.
EHR system used is Cerner.
Dress code requires scrubs in Galaxy Blue or Navy.
Tattoos must be covered, excessive jewelry avoided, and fingernails kept clean and short.
Critical skills include the ability to handle stressful environments and make appropriate clinical decisions independently.
The position is a replacement role for permanent staff, with an upcoming start date of 09/27/2026, concluding on 12/27/2026.
Must have MI license already.
