Adventist Health Portland Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Specific Skills/Qualifications Needed:

- Minimum 2 years recent MS experience required (Must be reflected on resume)
- Active OR license is required upon submittal
- AHA BLS / ACLS required
- NIHS Preferred
- No RTO alloqed during any holiday weeks. Cannot request more than 3 days of time off per contract.
- Epic EMR experience

Additional Details: - Total Bed Count: 44 

• Bed Types and How Divided: All med/surg, including 8 stroke beds
• Staffing Ratios: Days 1:5 (most days 1:4 but at times 1:5) Nights 1:4 or 5 Weekends 1:4 or 5
• Schedule Requirements: No Call Required
• Float Required: Depends on staffing of other units and current census, staff may be asked to float
• Weekend Coverage: every other weekend, or six weekend shifts per six week scheduling period depending on unit need
