This 13-week travel nursing assignment is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who values autonomy, organization, and relationship-based care. As a Home Health RN, you will manage a daily caseload, complete timely documentation, and help patients achieve the best possible outcomes while working in a rewarding home health setting.

Job Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Home Health
• Location: Roseburg, Oregon
• Setting: Home Health Nursing
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,050 - $2,160
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 8-hour schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Coverage Area: Roseburg and surrounding communities, with travel up to 75 miles from the assigned care center
• Patient Volume: Approximately 5-8 patients per day
• Schedule Notes: No guaranteed hours; open to rotating on-call as needed
• Charting: HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and OASIS proficiency required
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance required
• Dress Code: Scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with license in hand
• Minimum 1 year of Adult Home Health experience or 1 year of Hospice experience
• Recent experience using HomeCare HomeBase within the last 6 months, or willingness to complete retraining during compliance if eligible
• OASIS proficiency required for RNs, with recent use within the last 6 months
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to travel daily between patient homes and to periodic office meetings
• Comfortable working independently and managing a geographically distributed caseload
• Strong documentation skills and ability to complete charting within 24 hours of each visit
• Open to local or travel candidates

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to physician orders and agency policies
• Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate services to support safe, effective care
• Perform start-of-care visits, wound care, follow-up visits, and other home health nursing services
• Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and LPN/LVNs as appropriate
• Travel throughout the assigned territory and adapt to changing daily schedules and patient needs
• Document all visits accurately and promptly to support continuity of care and billing compliance
• Collaborate with the clinical team to promote positive outcomes, patient satisfaction, and quality home health care
