Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Job Details:
• 13-week contract assignment
• 12-hour variable day and night shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; unit may low census in 4-hour increments and could ask traveler to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• Work on MAP Unit covering Medical and Pediatrics (travelers do not take Pediatric patients)
• Treat patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color

The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and provides comprehensive care across multiple inpatient units, supporting patients with complex medical needs.
