• Unit Setting: Adult medical/surgical care with psychiatric and behavioral health patient needs
• Schedule Needs: Rotating day/evening/night schedules, with weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities as needed

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Psychiatric or psychology experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Strong adaptability and the ability to care for a varied patient population
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult med/surg patients with complex behavioral and psychiatric needs
• Monitor patient condition, assess changes, and respond appropriately to evolving clinical situations
• Support telemetry monitoring and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a changing and fast-paced healthcare setting
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Participate in charge, callback, on-call, holiday, and weekend coverage as required by unit needs
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and support the growth of the unit
