Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Registered Nurse experience
• Psychiatric nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Strong adaptability and comfort caring for a varied adult patient population in a changing environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-focused care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult med/surg patients with complex medical, surgical, psychiatric, and behavioral health needs
• Monitor patients closely, including telemetry observations and ongoing assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Respond to changing patient needs with flexibility, professionalism, and clinical judgment
• Support unit operations, including charge RN responsibilities when assigned
• Deliver high-quality nursing care while maintaining a calm, positive presence for patients and families
