Job Details
Position Description: Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) Specialty: Neuro Med Surg Location: Johnstown, PA, with assignment starting 10/12/2026 and ending 12/26/2026.
Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification and 2+ years of experience in medical surgical nursing; neuro experience preferred.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
Required Qualifications: Current NIH certification, minimum 2 years of relevant experience, competency in dysrhythmia management, and ability to pass a dosage math test on orientation day.
Additional Information: Must be available for holidays as scheduled; will undergo dysrhythmia and dosage testing during orientation.
Responsibilities: Responsible for patient monitoring, administering medications, documenting patient care in EPIC electronic health record, and responding to emergency situations.
