Job Details
Position Description: Care for patients in an orthopedic unit and joint replacement center, managing procedures related to trauma, general medical, and surgical needs.
Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS Certification, at least 2 years of medical surgical or orthopedic nursing experience, and ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts for a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with every other weekend and holiday.
Additional Information: Orientation to the unit will be 6-12 hours. The unit utilizes EPIC charting and maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 or 5:1. No call is required, and the nurse will never work alone.
Licensing: Valid license required for submission.
Experience Requirement: 0 years minimum, with a preference for candidates with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
Shift Note: The position involves rotating 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday.
