Overview

This is a 13-week travel nurse assignment for an experienced Registered Nurse who is confident in Medical-Surgical nursing and comfortable working in a collaborative hospital environment. The role includes rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled.

Job Requirements

• Active North Dakota or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Experience in a large hospital setting preferred
• Experience in a Level II or higher trauma center preferred
• Travel nursing experience required, unless you have multiple years of experience in a large Level I setting
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• EPIC experience required
• Surgical oncology experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and surgical oncology patients
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care
• Assess patient needs and deliver care within the full scope of RN practice
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Use clinical judgment to support safe, effective, and age-appropriate patient care
• Document care accurately in EPIC and support efficient unit workflow
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed across Med/Surg units
