Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical care to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical unit.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a varying environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.

Work Environment

The position involves working day shifts in a collaborative medical-surgical unit. The role may require travel between various locations within the region.
