Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in en_US. Provides competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, focusing on patients with complex problems. Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process, with an emphasis on education, assessment, implementation, and leadership.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); minimum of 2 years' MedSurg/Tele experience.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
Additional Information: Will consider 36-hour/week contract. Local rate is $70 per hour. Must have minimum 2 years of MedSurg/Tele experience.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, discharge planning, performance improvement activities, and ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
