Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of RN/MS experience required
First-time travelers accepted
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Compact RN license must be in hand at submission
Epic experience required
Experience with 1:4 patient ratios
Must be willing to float between units and nearby sister facilities as needed
4 weekend shifts required per contract
50-mile local radius; locals accepted at a lower bill rate
All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
Maximum 1 Providence facility submission at a time
2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
Description:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients.
Manage patients requiring MS/Tele-level care, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
Provide IV therapy, peripheral line care, PICC management, phlebotomy, central line blood draws, and blood product administration.
Care for patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions, including bariatric surgery, bowel obstruction, colostomy/ileostomy, and feeding tubes.
Provide respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, chest tubes, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and tracheostomy care.
Manage patients with renal conditions, including renal failure, CBI, and pre/post-hemodialysis care.
Care for patients with CVA, traumatic brain injury, mood disorders, substance withdrawal, and pre/post-neurosurgical needs.
Perform wound care, wound VAC management, surgical drain care, PCA management, and palliative/comfort care.
Follow isolation precautions and appropriate PPE protocols.
Participate in rapid response/code team interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Provide compassionate care to patients receiving end-of-life and comfort-focused care.
