Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Rome, New York.
Job Description & Requirements

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Step-Down
Location: Rome, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP / August 24, 2026
Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Requirements:
Active RN license
1–2 years of recent Step-Down and/or Telemetry experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
Ability to float as needed
Unit Details:
Medical Acute Care / Step-Down Unit
Patient Ratio: 6:1
EMR: Paragon
Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
Patterns Hiring Job ID #AN-0082-0801. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
