Job Summary Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) Location: Not specified. This position involves providing excellent patient care within a highly specialized medical surgical unit. The candidate will be responsible for delivering compassionate, efficient, and accurate care to adult patients with diverse diagnoses and needs, utilizing their clinical skills and teamwork.
Job Details
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, BSN.
Education Requirements: BSN preferred.
Years of Experience: 2 years required.
Location Requirements: Must be within a 75-mile radius of the facility; pending license accepted.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Skills: Med/Surg, Telemetryremote monitoring, Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, Insulin, management of dysrhythmias.
Additional Information: Must pass Relias EKG exam, interpret/manage dysrhythmias, and have experience with various drips such as Heparin, Lidocaine, Bicarb, Bivaldirubin, and Amiodarone. Must have experience with PCAs, Epidurals, and CBIs, and possess basic telemonitoring knowledge.
Schedule details: 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week.
