Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing routine and complex nursing care in a clinical setting with a focus on patient-centered approaches. The nurse will practice independently and demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge and awareness.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Days (7AM - 7PM)
• Full-Time position with guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 per week available.
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet expectations for leadership competencies.
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and utilize resources.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • BLS certification via AHA required.
  • Current RN License in the state of employment or compact.

Working Environment

The nurse will be part of a collaborative healthcare team, utilizing Epic as the electronic medical record (EMR) system. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1, allowing for focused patient care in a dynamic setting.

Dress Code

Candidates are required to wear Ceil Blue scrubs while on duty.
