Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3072
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - MedSurg
Job Details:
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hour increments as needed; unit will typically low census in 4-hour increments and may ask traveler to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Work on Medical and Pediatrics unit (travelers do not take Pediatrics patients)
• Treat adult patients with conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, and able to manage change well
• Must be able to work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff
• Positive attitude and flexibility with constant shift changes required

This is a full-service acute care hospital serving as a regional medical hub in central Wisconsin. The facility offers a wide range of inpatient services, including a Medical and Pediatrics unit that treats complex adult conditions across multiple specialties. With Trauma Level II capabilities and a collaborative, fast-paced environment, the facility is well-equipped to provide high-quality care to the surrounding community.
