Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Neuro - $1,956 per week in Nashville, TN

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) – Tennessee

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule

Highlights:

• 20-bed Neuro Medical/Surgical unit with 6:1 patient ratio
• Tech support available on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage from 7am-7pm
• Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Meditech electronic health record system
• Advanced equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, and iMobile communication technology
• Strong focus on patient-centered care with bedside shift reporting

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency in IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities
• Willingness to float as needed according to facility rotation policy
