Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule; 6:1 patient ratio on a 20-bed unit

Highlights:

• Work on a dedicated Neuro Med/Surg unit in a Comprehensive Stroke Center and ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center with Certified Chest Pain designation
• Documentation via Meditech EMR system with support from unit secretaries (7a-7p) and tech support on day and night shifts
• Utilize advanced equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse ox machines, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and iMobile communication technology
• Structured floating policy with contract labor floating first, followed by rotation when multiple contract staff are scheduled
• Opportunity to work in a facility recognized for excellence in stroke, trauma, and cardiac care
• Navy scrub uniform provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Strong ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
