Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule

Highlights:

• 20-bed Neuro Medical-Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Tech support on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Meditech EMR system with access to modern equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and iMobile communication technology
• Facility holds certifications as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Opportunities to provide attentive, compassionate care with bedside shift report and collaborative patient/family engagement
• Professional environment with navy scrubs uniform

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Strong skills in prioritizing care, multitasking, IV insertion, basic wound care, and management of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
